Casino Niagara is a land-based casino that is situated in the city of Ontario, Canada. The Casino Niagara in Ontario was first established in December of 1996, where it was built on the former site of the amusement park Maple Leaf Village and was opened to the public on the 9th of December. The casino was built in the mid 1990’s by the Government of the Province of Ontario. Operation of Casino Niagara
The Navegante Group was the first company to operate Casino Niagara in Ontario, but today the casino is owned and operated by the Crown Corporation of Ontario Lotteries and Gaming, which was founded in May of 1975. The Crown Corporation is responsible for all of the region’s lotteries, casino game activity and slot machine games at horse racing tracks. The company’s prize centre is based in the Canadian city of Toronto, while its headquarters are situated in Sault Ste. Marie.
